Uh Antoine Walker, are you crazy?

Two different stories ran about former NBA Star Antoine Walker. Notice the sequence and tell me if he isn't just absolutely clueless, "special" and slow. Here's the first article, printed on Wednesday the 15th:

Bad-check warrant out for ex-NBA star
LAS VEGAS -- A warrant has been issued for the arrest of former NBA star Antoine Walker on criminal charges stemming from $822,500 in gambling debts. A court clerk says Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Melanie Tobiasson signed the warrant Tuesday. Walker, who is from Chicago, is accused of three felony counts of writing bad checks. County prosecutors say he failed to make good on 10 checks totaling $1 million written to Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood and the Red Rock Resort.
Walker's lawyer in Las Vegas, Jonathan Powell, didn't immediately respond Tuesday to messages. Prosecutor Bernie Zadrowski told the Las Vegas Sun that Walker has repaid $178,000 of the debts incurred last July to January.

And then today's article:

Police nab Walker in casino
Chicago native and former
NBA star Antoine Walker was arrested Thursday morning at Harrah's Casino at Stateline, Nev., on a felony arrest warrant charging him with passing checks and obtaining credit with non-sufficient funds in Las Vegas, according to the Nevada Appeal in Carson City. Walker is accused of owing three Las Vegas casinos more than $800,000. Walker's bail was set at $905,050, cash only, but later had it reduced to $135,000 and has since been released, the paper reported. He is scheduled to appear in Las Vegas Justice Court on Monday. Walker was in South Lake Tahoe for the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament. According to police, a Harrah's employee who had seen a TV news report on Walker approached a deputy on foot patrol. Walker was then arrested at a bar in the casino, the paper reported.

Now, does anyone see a pattern here? You OWE three casinos money, yet you get caught up IN a casino. It sounds like someone needs a true case of Gamers Anonymous.

If that were me, I can guarantee you wouldn't find me anywhere NEAR the state of Nevada. Atlantic City, well that's another option.

End Transmission.
